Four teams have already qualified for the CIS Minor, with only one round of matches left to play.
Spirit, Spartak, Spirit Academy and Tengri have all booked spots at the Minor after topping their respective groups, which feature a best-of-three double-elimination format.
HLTV.org has reached out to PGL for clarification on whether both of Spirit's teams will be allowed to attend the event or one of the squads will have to relinquish their spot in the competition.
Another solution would be for Spirit to either sell one of the teams or terminate their contracts, allowing the players to attend the event under a new organisation and name.
